Do you like traditional Japanese sweets?
Then I recommend you this Kanro Shichifukujin.
It also focuses on macrobiotics, so white sugar, milk, egg, dairy products are not used.
For the sweetness, sugar beet is used.
And they use organic ingredients as best they can.
What you can enjoy here is Anmitsu, Zenzai, Oshiruko, green tea, soy ice cream, etc.
Anmitsu is a sweet made with diced agar, red bean jam, fruits, etc.
Zenzai is red bean soup and depends on the type it has rice cake, rice cake ball, etc.
Oshiruko is also red bean soup but it doesn’t have bean shell in the soup while Zenzai has.
Sugamo is also famous place as “Obaa-chan’s Harajuku”
So the place is loved by elderly people as well as local people.
Cat Sabu-chan also welcomes you at the cafe!!
