Chien Fu is a famous restaurant which offers Taiwanese vegetarian dishes.
But fist of all, I have to add the dishes might use MSG.
Because I found a review of one customer that says he noticed the taste is a kind of (MSG) and he also made a call to the restaurant to check it.
And I myself made a call to check if they use it and the answer was they use a kind of it (the stuff did not assert MSG but told me they use that kind of seasoning) for some of the dishes.
The reason I included here is, I’m not going to criticize it as they don’t say like MSG-free on the website, but I thought customers also should know at least before their visit.
And just in case please make a call if you worry about it.
The menu offered Chien Fu does not include only meat, fish, egg but also Onion, garlic, etc.
So it is a kind of Japanese Shojin ryori (Japanese vegan cuisine in Buddhism) although the dishes here are Taiwanese.
It is also a popular restaurant for its wide variety of Taiwanese dishes and the taste.
This is a sister restaurant of Nakaichi Soshoku-ten in Kunitachi that had opened in 1983.
