Le Chalet
This is not a vegetarian restaurant but has also menus for vegetarian that I selected.
I often joined earth day or related event that focused on environmental issues in Tokyo in the past and sometimes found shop of Levain there.
Levain is a natural yeast bakery shop and Le Chalet is its restaurant.
I myself had the breads and it was very good taste.
I could enjoy unique taste of natural yeast and wheat itself.
Its natural yeast is truly natural as it is made on their own, not the natural yeast sold at shop.
It also uses domestic wheat that is ground by stone mill and natural salt in Oshima island in Japan.
I don’t know when it opened Le Chalet but it is more than 15 years ago as long as I know.
Levain is very famous bakery shop among lovers of natural yeast bread in Tokyo and here in Le Chalet you can enjoy its bread.
