Review

Here you can enjoy vegan food of Israel.
This is a specialty cafe of falafel.

It was about 10 to 15 minutes from Shibuya station.
But I like the appearance of the cafe.
Ferns hang loosely adds the taste.

The time I visited was 1:30 pm and there were just about 5 people inside.
I took a seat of bar counter.
There was no menu on the table so I went to the cash counter and there I could find menu.

On the menu I could find half-size falafel at about $9 and I thought this might be popular one so I ordered it.
But later I understood that the popular menu is lunch set comes with lentil soup at 1000 yen (about $9.5).
I should have checked the menu carefully.

Anyway I waited about 5 minutes and there I could get falafel!

Oh, this is a huge amount!
I was a little bit worried about the size as what I ordered was half-size but actually this is regular size or more in ordinary shop.

It was good I ordered half-size.
But how’s the taste?
Yes, taste was very good, I can recommend you with confidence.
Many vegetables inside such as tomato, eggplant, cucumber, cabbage, etc.

The staff also gave me red container with the falafel and I thought this must be ketchup so I used it.
But the thing came out of the container was not ketchup but, well, I myself did not know what it is, anyway I tried it with falafel.
I see, this is a bit hot but not chili pepper or red pepper.
I think this was the first time I tried this spice but I saw it goes well with the falafel if you use it a little amount.

As it was big to me, it was a bit hard to eat beautifully but I managed to eat it.
This is the cafe not only Japanese but people from overseas come visit.
Not to forget to order set menu like me as the lentil soup comes with falafel has also good reputaion!
